Hey folks, my dryer is fixed. It cost $250. It should have only cost $65. We had one repair place come over and the technician looked at one thing, said the timer was bad. He went to the office and then called and left a message that he could not find one and we owed him $50. I looked up the part on line and found it for $107. Bought it , got it in the mail, hubby installed it, pulgged the dryer in , turned it on and nothing happened. Well, we called a technician that was a friend of one of the guys my hubby works with. He came over , inspected the dyer, checked some key electrical points. Found the issue and had it fixed in less than half an hour. The problem was a wire that had come off the door switch.

Turns out we did not need the timer. My husband did not have any cash when the first technician was over , so he said he would bill us. Well, we are not going to pay his bill, I am calling the shop owner Tuesday and telling him that his incompetent technician cost $107 dollars that we really could have used for better things than a part we did not need, and he needs to retrain his technicians, and teach them the difference between cat food pellets and cat poo on the floor, but that is another story and I NEVER have poo on the floor that I let be, my floors may not be clean enough to eat off of, (but then who honestly does ) but they are clean enough to sit or lie on if need be. Don't want to get started on that one so I will leave it for now.

Smile at strangers , makes them wonder what you are up too............

Well, the homemade soap works just fine, the dryer however, does not . It went out 3 weeks ago. It is a pain in the *ahem not having a dryer and I don't like to go to the laundromat so the clothes get hung up all over the house on hangers.

The homemade dishwasher soap did not work very well, the dishes were clean, but stayed cloudy, so I will do research on how to clear that problem up , but in the mean time I am using the store bought stuff.

Made some emergency candles with some old coffee cups we don't use and reclaimed wax from old birthday number candles. Here is a secret about that, unless they are a solid color, the coloring on them is paint, cut it off before you put them in your metal pour pot, the paint sticks and won't wash out.I had some old pillar candles and I got a sack of them at the thrift store , so I have about 12 emergency candles with handles for this storm season. Now that I have made them , we will not have any power issues this year.

Our 12 year old lawn mower was stolen last month. Just got it back from the repair man. Jacob was using it in the front yard, came in for a drink, went back out and it was gone in less that 5 minutes. We went ahead and filed a police report.

Well that is it for now, I don't feel good , had a 24 hour stomach thing and now my ribs hurt from getting sick.
Have fun folks.
Todays entry in the silly dogs saga.
Daddy (hubby Jeff) came home an hour early, the dogs barked like he was a burglar. "you are not supposed to come home early"
Crazy animals.

another entry in the crazy dog saga. We have an old big screen tv in the living room , it is broke so we don't use it . My silly Pebbles was sleeping, she woke up a little, and the light must have been shining on the screen just right. Suddenly she jumps up, all the hackles on her back standing up , crouched like she was ready for a fight and started barking at the tv. The other dog is "what! where? what are you barking at?"......Pebbles was barking at her reflection in the screen of the tv...........this was Wednesday this week.
